Rock Star Session {In the making}

So a while back I did a drawing for one lucky Newsletter subscriber to receive a free rock star session. Whats a Rock Star session? Well it’s a photo + video session. Yes, it’s true, we can document your session in video and still pictures. Anyways, the video will take a while for the editing process but I wanted to post a few pics from the session. Kitty Camareno won and wanted to use the session for her daughter and her daughters boyfriend. Aren’t they adorable?
If you have questions about the Rock Star session or would like to book us for one of these crazy cool and unique sessions just give me a shout!
On to pictures…

It’s all in the family! {Austin Photographer}

This past Saturday I met up with my sister and her family for their Christmas pictures. My sisters are my best friends, seriously. We don’t always get along but I know I can always go to her for advice and support.
So the most common question I get after I schedule a photo shoot is “what do we wear”? My response is always “just be yourself”. Why wear matching shirts? Do you normally leave the house each day wearing the same thing as everyone else in the family? Other advice that I give is to wear layers and accessorize. Layers, scarfs, hats, jackets, vests, ties, and jewlery add texture to the photos. Even if you don’t accessorize on a day to day basis adding some extra bling for the photos is a great way to make your photos pop. I’m saying all of this because my sister did a great job putting together outfits for the kids. Lots of layers and textures and guess what, no matching outfits. Just look at how cute they turned out…

Yes, I know it’s a porta potty but it’s PINK! Don’t judge.

After our morning shoot we headed to Hey Cupcake and my sister got these shots of me with my kidods

Katie and Becky are also good friends so when I went to take pictures of Camryn, Katie met up with us for a few shots of Annabelle. More to come, so check back…

Andre {Austin Senior Photographer}

I just love seniors. I’m sure I say that about every senior post but I do, I love them so much. I love their spirit, their style, their individuality, and the passion they have for life. I can’t say that I had my head on straight in high school so I admire any high school kid that does. Andre definitely fits into that category. He knows what he wants to do in life, where he wants to go to college, and the determination it takes to get there. I know God has big plans in store for Andre. Here he is…
