My new Cousin!

My cousin Karen and her husband adopted a beautiful, funny, precious girl from China a few months ago. Meinaw has been a joy to everyone in our family especially her newly adoptive parents. When they came to town for the holidays we met downtown for a few pictures and of coarse we had to stop off at Big Top candy store to pick up a few lollipops. I had to squeeze some pics in of my kiddos since I’m long overdue. Here they all are..

This is how they say cheese in China! I thought it was too funny!

How I wish I was that flexible!

Not sure why I took this picture.

Jordan & Emily

How I love thee… These two are a match made in Heaven. Not only are they darn cute but they are a photographers dream couple. They had a first sight before the ceremony so we met up at the Caswell House for their pictures and then headed over to the ceremony at St. Davids. Their wedding was absolutely beautiful and Emily was a knock out Bride. Katie Astoria did an awesome job on her makeup and Edelweiss Salon was in charge of her hair, which didn’t move an inch the whole wedding. I also had the wonderful privilege of working with Becky Sosa from Stress Free Events for the first time. She was on the ball every minute of the day.
Eden’s Echo was in charge of the geourgeous flower arrangements and The Cake Pan made the cakes.
Now on to the pictures…

Fgrosso Family

It was so funny when Joy called me up to do their family pictures. She asked me if I would be “willing” to do their pictures. I’m not sure if that is exactly how she worded it but it was something close. I was like sure, I mean that is what I do! Then she began to explain that she has 3 kids under the age of 2! Then I understood what she meant. I guess she was asking me if I was up for the challenge. Truth is I couldn’t be more thrilled to photograph her twin girls and 6 month old son especially after I saw how stinkin adorable they all are. Here are some of my favs from our shoot…

Chris & Laura

I know I’m long overdue for a wedding post. I don’t always get around to blogging about weddings. I just love Chris and Laura. They are as nice as can be. I remember after our engagement shoot a couple of months ago they offered to take me out for a drink afterwards. I think Chris was pleasantly surprised that I didn’t ask him to look at the camera for their pictures. He is not the picture taking type.
Their wedding ceremony was one of the best locations I have shot at. I love the unique little old churches and that is exactly what this was. It is located out in Manor and was established in the early 1800′s by Swedish settlers. The sign on the building states that the first year of their worship here the services were done in Swedish. Chris and Laura like to drive around and explore new things and they came upon this church before they were even engaged. Ok enough talk, now on to some pictures…

Adrian and I just died laughing at this stained glass window! I don’t know why it is so funny to me

Lots of Lehanes!

I just adore this family. You may remember the Lehane Family Session I did a while back. Cheryl called me and wanted me to come out while they were all together for the holidays and get some family pictures. I was honored and had a great time. Their family property is just beautiful I had so much to work with with beautiful settings and adorable kiddos. Here are some from our day!
