My friend Cat.

Catherine how I love thee…. I miss my dear friend Catherine so much. She recently got engaged to her high school sweet heart. It is a long story but they dated in high school for like 3 or 4 years then went their separate ways in college which is when I met Cat. We were on the same hall in the ACU dorms. It has been forever since I’ve seen her since she has been in Arizona but we always pick up right where we left off. She is so dear to me and I am honored to be able to photograph such a beautiful bride and amazing friend. Here are some from her bridals today….
Oh and you gotta love it when you suggest “hay stacks” and she says “heck yeah”.

Here we are traveling from one location to the next.  My friend Lindsey is the one of the left who recently got engaged herself.  Oh, so exciting!

The Bickham Family

The Bickham’s go to our church and are part of our small group. They are such a sweet family and their little girls are adorable to say the least. We had a wild and crazy time going around DT Kyle taking pictures. Emily had all sorts of energy stored up for the shoot so that just meant a little extra running around for me. I could probably use the exercise. Here are just a few from our shoot on Friday…

Molly + Cory

Cory and Molly’s wedding was beautiful. We couldn’t have asked for better weather. We were all afraid it would rain but it remained overcast for the evening which kept it cool enough for an outdoor wedding in August. Luanna Cole at the Plantation house did an amazing job and it is always such a pleasure to work with. We took the guys out first for their pictures and then hid them away for the girls to come out for some pictures before the wedding. Once Cory was able to see his bride he couldn’t keep from kissing her all night long. If I could think of one word to describe Molly it would be JOYFUL. She was bubbling over with Joy and laughter all day. Adrian and I had so much fun shooting this wedding. Thank you Molly and Cory for a great day and for allowing us to be a part of it.

As much as I tell my clients to act natural, natural wasn’t working for this pose. I had to ask my tall groom Cory to bend his knees to get this shot.

Here is the result.

When I told Cory he could let go of her hand now, with all seriousness he said “I don’t want to let go”. So sweet.

Here is Adrian working it with the 70-200mm.

Check out this great shot my hubby got of Molly’s niece.

Kevin + Sammie

I was very excited about this wedding. The bride, Sammie, is absolutely gorgeous and totally laid back. They had chosen to see eachother before the wedding, which was an A+ in my book, so we had lots of time to take pictures before the wedding. Not only that but she decided she didn’t want any formal shots at all! Music to my ears! Oh, how I love this girl. Here are some from the wedding….

Name that song?

Baby Colvin!

Ryan and Marj are in our care group at church. We just recently found a church home since moving to Kyle and we have loved being part of a church family again. We have grown to love each and every person in our care group and now we must say goodbye to this sweet family. They just recently sold their beautiful home and are moving to DFW to be near family. I can’t say that I blame them but none the less we will miss them dearly. Colvin is just a few weeks old but already growing strong and BIG!! Here are a few from our shoot yesterday….
